Help with weaning my son?

my son is just turning 6 months old. I have been giving him puree veg ect for about 3 weeks now, it's seems very soon after this he developed diarrhea and has had it for about 3 weeks now so far. Am i imagining that i have pregnancy syptoms or are they real?

I had my period last month, but I am not sure of the exact dates ,however, I do know that I started on march 14th or 15th of the previous month and it was a little late in April if I remember correctly, i think i started somewhere in the 20's (yes i know i probably should keep up with it better lol). I had May 5th without protection but midway he put a condom on. Taking a nap???

I make sure that where ever I am trying to take a nap is free from light. I mean there is always going to be some light coming from somewhere....but anyway...I also try to not force myself to think about napping. Where are you most comfortable in your home? Maybe its in a lay-z-boy or curled up on the couch. I sometimes also plug in my MP3 player and have a playlist with only relaxing songs and whatnot. That seems to work. Make sure to put it on the lowest volume setting so its more of background noise.

Should I dig in the muddy soil?

I built a little trench in my backyard for water drainage. I used my level to make sure the perforated pipe was angled downward. I placed dirt and sod over it and during a rainstorm the trench does a good job for the most part but near the end the water pools up so I think I need to make the angle a little deeper near the end of the pipe. The problem is that it has been raining nearly everyday so there is no time for the soil to get dry enough for me to dig. I want to try and get it done to prevent the stale water from attracting mosquitoes and before the sod grows into the lawn. So I guess it is ok to dig into the mud, the only negative it being really messy?

Post-movie depression?

so, this is probably a ridiculous question BUT does anyone else get really depressed after watching some movies? im going tomorrow night to see the final harry potter installment and im actually starting to dread going because i know that for the next week after seeing it, i will be so depressed. not just because it's over, but for other inexplicable reasons. like i cant even put a finger on what makes me so depressed. and its not just harry potter; there are a bunch of other movies that give me what i call "post-movie depression". i feel miserable for days, even weeks. i obsess over the movie. sometimes i even pretend that i was in it or that i know the cast. i know, wierd. i think i just become so engrossed with the characters and the plot. movies have played a big role in my life, as far as influencing me. why do i have to go through this depression period? does anyone else suffer from this? advice please!

You can eat fresh fruit and an omelette, and no, eggs aren't inherently unhealthy for you. There's always breakfast cereal, and there are plenty of healthy ones if you don't want a bowl of sugar, fruit juice, cocoa wheats or malt-o-meal, and there's some really goodn bacon and sausage style products nowdays in the frozen breakfast section at most grocery stores called "Morningstar Farms" which is higher in protein and lower in fats and cholesterol. A muffin, a banana, and some milk, that's pretty simple to buy.

Have any of you had spooky experiences with baby monitors?

when i was babysitting for this woman, i barely ever used the monitors but i went and layed down her baby and i turned on the monitor. when i went back to the living room i watched television, and like 5-10 minutes later i heard a man talking queitly on it, which scared the crap out of me! i was so scared to go back to the room , but i knew i had to because i wouldnt let anything happen to the little baby. so i turned on all of the lights and walked slowly back there with like a bat or something in my hand! when i got there nothing, so i looked in the closet, made sure the window was locked and went back out there, and still there was someone talking. then i realized that there was a woman too, and thats when i figured out it was someones phone conversation, still to this day i get scared when i hear noises or talking on my daughters monitor, hers makes wierd noises, noone talking though, just creepy noises..

I know what you're talking about. I had already taken the driving test once and even though I knew what to expect I was still as nervous as the first time. I was even nervous right up to the point when the instructor told me to pull out of the lot. The important thing to remember is that it's just a test and if you don't p it just means that you need to practice more. I was nervous and I was expecting them to tell me what I'm going to need more practice on but I actually ped with flying colors. Just do your best and don't worry about what happens.

i just got into the grove of working out this past week. i began working out for 3 hours each day alternating hour spinning cl/kickboxing cles and spending an hour and a half on weights (arms, abs, legs). on top of that i haven't eaten much at all. 1000 calories tops. but i have gained about 5 pounds. is this normal? when will i start to lose weight?

What am i doing wrong?

any other time in my life if i wanted to lose a few pounds all i had to do was cut back my eating and hit up the treadmill and i could lose 5-10lbs in one week. granted it never stayed that way because we all end up gaining it back. but anyway this time i got serious! SERIOUS serious! i started counting calories. limiting myself to 1500 or less a day. mostly i buy a lot of lean cuisines. and for dinner i eat either salmon or chicken with rice and steamed veggies. however i will admit, every now and then i'll splurge and eat a burger or have soda but i still keep counting the calories and cut back in other areas. or try to eat healthier items if i am forced to eat out. and then i make up for that burger on the treadmill. along with that i have been working out 3-4 times a week. usually for a good hour to hour and a half. combination of cardio and light weights. usually i do squats and leg lifts. then i dance with 2lb weights focusing on twisting and flexing my tummy to try and tone it. along with other leg movements. then i get on the treadmill for 30 mins and do a minimum of 300 calories and 2 miles. i do however do my workouts in the evenings as oppose to the mornings. not sure if that changes anything or not. along with all that, i take a prenatal vitamin and drink 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar daily. I've been doing this now for a month and a half. in the mix i even hiked Yosemite national parks half dome hike. which is 16 miles long and takes 12 hours. You would have thought i'd lose 10lbs just doing that hike. but the crazy thing is, i haven't lost any weight...i'm perplexed. i can't even lose that easy 10lbs i use too and im only 25 years old. its nuts but my morning weight is around 142-144 and once i eat and go about my day, my nightly weight is around 146-148. but its remained that way. I know what you will say, im building muscle. MAYBE but i just don't feel like im changing at all. im not even seeing it in my clothes either. my jeans are still tight as can be. I just don't know what im doing wrong. I'd like to lose 15-20lbs. maybe one day it will all just fall off, IDK...anyway any tips would be nice! thanks!!!

About a kitten.........?

I have a 4 week old kitten and just a few days ago I took it to the vet because she was shaking bad and could barely lift herself up. Well they told me that her sugar was low and she wasn't getting enough nutrition, they give me medicine for her which was going to help her sugar and also told me to start feeding her soft can foods. Our marriage is not as good ever since the birth of our daughter - how do I fix things?

Ever since the birth of our daughter, our marriage is not as good. We are fighting all the time. We mostly argue about the details on how to raise our daughter. I am finding that I am very angry at him for a reason that I can't pinpoint. The reason may be, though, that just before the birth, while I was getting ready for the baby, he was not very involved. I went out and bought toys and clothes and nursery decorations, pump, nursing pillow, blankets, baby tub, all that stuff, countless things, and he did not help with any of that at all. To his credit, he did get a stroller and car seat, but that was it. I also wanted him to read a chapter in a book about labour and delivery, and he wouldn't read it. I had to read it to him. The second night we had the baby at home, she cried all night, and my husband would not allow me to sooth her - he wanted to solve the problem. I wanted to feed her because I thought the baby was hungry, but he wouldn't hand the baby over. Finally I had to yell at him and he finally ped her to me. He also claims that I am "shutting him out" and not allowing him enough input into how to raise the baby, but I don't have the energy or the time to discuss (or argue) the details with him. For example, I gave the baby a bath yesterday and he was angry because I didn't consult him first. I didn't consult him because I knew he would say no, and after carrying around this baby for nine months, if I want to bathe my baby, I think I should be able to. I think he should have more faith in my mother's instincts. We aren't getting enough sleep (either of us) and we are both anxious about the baby, and we are not being nice to each other because we are both in the worst moods. How can I fix the situation?

When Sims buy clothes, in order to change what they're wearing, they have to have a dresser (there's a Plan Outfit... option). That, or at the place they by the outfit, if you have (I think) Apartment Life, you can use the changing room too. But yeah..... Sims need a place to put their clothes hehe.

I've had long discussions with very well educated "men of the cloth" both catholic and noncatholic about the subject of literal interpretation of the bible. 5 weeks pregnant and petrified of problems. Have you experienced this?

So there with you! I got a positive test just shy of 4 weeks pregnant (although we thought I was further along). I was so scared, and everyone around me kept on making miscarriage comments! To make things worse, I went to my first appointment and found the baby wasn't measuring where we thought it should and I had low progesterone, so I had to go through a hard week until I got another another ultrasound a week later and found out the baby was growing like it should (our dates must have been off). Even though we have detected a heartbeat on ultrasound, I'm anxiously awaiting our 2nd appointment next week, and I don't know what I'll do if they can't find the heartbeat on doppler! Just try to take a deep breath and relax because it is out of your hands. If you are a religious person, bring your fears up to God, because He is the only person with control over the situation! My faith has done wonders for my fear. Good luck!

I take aquatic (water) therapy for chronic back pain caused by arthritis and bone spurs in my spine. Today I asked my therapist, " when I was ually active (3 yrs. ago) I wasn't bothered with back pain, and why is that?" She explained some different positions that actually help ease back pain. Need a way to maintain my weight?

okay, so i'm 13, 5'5" and a half and 129 pounds. i have recently lost like 80 pounds in a span of about 7 months and now i need a way to maintain my weight. everyone keeps telling me i'm going to gain it back if i keep going how i am and it scares me. i don't want to gain any back. everyday i have a bowl of honey bunches of oats with pecans with skim milk and then for dinner normally a cup of yogurt and berries or one cup of progresso vegetable soup. i don't eat lunch because normally i don't want to. i do 20 minutes of intervals of brisk walking and running everyday which is about a mile and a half. i don't want to change much but i refuse to let myself gain weight back and i just want to stabilize my weight. and i am trying to be a vegetarian. please help

Creaky Floor Fix ?

If it's a carpeted room one thing you can do is take the carpet up, and run wood screws through the floor, the sub floor and into the floor joists. If you're going with that method remember to coat the screws in wood glue, or some other adhesive to keep them from backing out over time under the carpet. If it's a wood floor, you can pull up the floor to expose the sub floor, do basically the same thing, and then use stuff called "leveling compound" over the top of the sub floor. Once that is dry, re-lay your wood flooring. If neither of these options sound good, and the joists are exposed on the underside, you can use screws up from the joists at an angle to tighten the gap between the joists and the sub floor, just make sure that your screws don't go more than 1/2 and inch vertically into the subfloor. Also, reinforce the joists to ensure that the joints aern't squeeking. For toung and groove wood flooring sometimes the floor settles and forms a gap between the floor and the sub floor. If you're not willing to take up the floor to fix the squeek, you can drill tiny holes in the flooring, and then inject self leveling compound or wood filler underneith the floor boards. Personally I've never done that one and don't know all the intricate details of it, but I've seen where it has been done and it is quite effective. the best way to know if you have a seperation of the floor and subfloor is to roll a golf ball across the floor. When it goes from a normal golf ball rolling sound to kind of a hollow sound, you know where your voids are. (and the pros actually use that too... I laughed quite a lot when a golf ball was a tool of the trade.)

If you're being recruited, then your SAT scores are less important than they would be for the average applicant. Generally, schools publish the middle 50% of scores from all admitted students. At some division 1 schools, much of the bottom quartile are the scores of athletes. You didn't say if your 1320 was Q+V or composite (total score). If you have a 1320 Q+V, then your score is quite good and you haven't anything to worry about. If 1320 is the compsite, then you should contact the schools to find out what their bare minimimum SAT requirements are (I doubt that it will be much higher than 1200 at the state schools).

28 weeks pregnant lots of lower back pain! icy hot creams?

The answer is NO on the Icy Hot. The DR told me all those creams are risky because of the chemicals absorbed into your skin and they don't know if they can damage baby or not. Tylenol is the only thing proven to be safe during pregnancy I would stick with that. If it is really bad discuss it with your DR because some back pains are a sign of preterm labor and if it isn't they can tell you what else to use.

Question about fedex delivery?

We ordered tickets, that were going to be shipped to us VIA fedex. First off the tickets were nearly $300 for 2! and We had went to the park with our child and weren't even gone two hours came back and it said the package had been delivered, it was no where in sight! There was a thunderstorm that day and high winds (We have a porch with a roof), we also have a dog that loves to chew everything. It says our package was left at our doorstep. Do you regret having your spouse wih you during giving birth?

My husband has been with me with the birth of all three of our children and I would not have it any other way. If you ask him if he views me differently (which I have asked him) he will say that he does view me differently. He has a higher respect for me with the birth of each child as child birth is not an easy task, it is hard work and it is incredibly painful. It takes a toll on ones body to carry a child for 9 months and to deliver and my husband respects me even more than he did than before we had any children because he has been in the delivery room to witness labor and the birth of our children.

Yesterday, I was playing baseball with a couple of guys in the neighborhood. My friend Porter hit a booming shot over the fence but we cant go over because of a giant man-eating dog. Fixing uneven eyebrows?

So I got my eyebrows waxed today and I am distraught. The lady waxed them unevenly. It's not even subtly off, like where the bottom of my left eyebrow is is where the top of my right one starts. (Not an exaggeration, though my eyebrows are somewhat thin.) School starts in 2 days, and thank god I have bangs. but how am I supposed to fix this? I can only think of letting them grow out and slowly plucking the bottom of my right eyebrow to lift it to an even line, but would that even work? Or let them grow out completely and try waxing again? Any ideas would be great.

Help with Complex Partial Seizures?

I am a 22 year old male and I started having complex partial seizures at the age of 13. I never had any head injuries and have absolutely no clue why that they ever started but the first day I had them I probably had at Least ten. It scared me absolutely to death and I kept it a secret for a long time and finally I went to a neurologist and was diagnosed with frontal lobe complex partial seizures and was put on 2 seperate anti-seizure medications. My dosage was increased several times because of breakthrough seizures and at my peak I was on 13 pills a day (3 and 3 in the morning, 4 and 3 at night). Well in 2009 I lost 50 lbs and was totally off my medication for a year but still had seizures every few months and now I've put back on my weight and the seizures are the absolute worst that they've ever been. The symptoms are as follows- diziness, very odd tastes, lip smacking, talking out of my head, amnesia afterwards, sleepiness, depression, and panic. I don't know what to do and I'm having these 3 or 4 days out of the week. Please please help me!!

It is exhilarating and encouraging to be among those that share ones views (religious or otherwise) but those views are worthless if one can not maintain them away from the packs' scrutiny. I think beliefs are vast and difficult to categorize. Not every Muslim believes in holy war just as not every Christian believes that their sect knows best. The basis of faith may tally but beliefs are very individual and valid. I always say the question is not what is right or wrong but rather the best way forward that edifies all.
