How do employers find the truth when staff make false harment claims against middle management?

I am a shift supervisor for 15 caregivers. During the past year, I wrote up the same staff 8-10 times due to insubordination and bad attitude. The behavior this staff demonstrates towards me is the complete opposite of the caring, attentive and productive act displayed around Administration.
