Why don't police ever stand up and say hey these laws are not for "saving lives' they are for raising revenue?
In Texas there is a city that is removing "red light cameras" because not enough people are running red lights and they are not raising enough revenue. Now I know that all the police will say "we just enforce the laws we don't make them"but I think there should come a time when people who are responsible for enforcing some of these inine laws stand up and say "hey look enough is enough, this is just plain damned wrong", but that just never seems to happen. I think that most traffic laws are enacted under the guise of "saving lives" and are really to make money for the government so I ask......
