Is it normal to gain weight after you work out?

i just got into the grove of working out this past week. i began working out for 3 hours each day alternating hour spinning cl/kickboxing cles and spending an hour and a half on weights (arms, abs, legs). on top of that i haven't eaten much at all. 1000 calories tops. but i have gained about 5 pounds. is this normal? when will i start to lose weight?
