Where do i stand LEGALLY?

you have no legal right to park in a specific place on public roads.i once got on to a motorist who parked on the pavement, on a very narrow road near me.i had to go off the pavement,and as i have arthritis in both legs and hard of hearing,this could be dangerous.he gave me a lot of lip ,and said he paid road tax and lived across the road from where he parked.i told him he wasn't on he road.
