Who are the true conservatives of America?

The democrats were the party of slavery. Sure we believe in defending our country. We love this country and want to protect our freedoms. We don�t celebrate our downfall, we want to spread democracy in the world. We do MORE than pull our weight around the world. Why do dem�s claim to be peaceful and tolerant, when they are the very opposite by their actions?
